That's very kind of you. We bou...Thank you A-M. That's very kind of you. We bought the MOST difficult house. It was FULL of old 1970's pine. I swear there was more pine here than a Finnish logging forest! Rather than pull the boards out, we simply painted it. Most of the house is white, but this hallway needed to be more theatrical, so we painted it Kate Spade green. (It took a double-strength to get that saturated geranium green). The colour was chosen because it was a lovely segue between the garden and the house. I was sceptical (it was RR's prompting), but I quite like it now.
